Robert Astromsky has always had a passion for cycling, having been a serious road competitor in the USA. He also worked in bike shops repairing and selling bikes to help finance his racing. In September 2002, he moved to Margaret River and bought the original shop, Margaret River Cycles. After two years of growing the business, Robert teamed up with a couple of investors and opened shops in Dunsborough and Busselton. Feeding his passion for riding and getting others onto bikes, Robert became the first Serotta trained bike fitter in Western Australia.

After  20 years of serving the South West, the shops have consolidated and re-branded as Life Cycle Bikes.
